House rules
A few simple things.
Mostly common sense. We're a licensed coffeeshop under Dutch law (AHOJGI) — and a neighbour. These rules keep both intact.
- 0118+ only.
Bring ID — passport, EU ID card, or driving licence. We may check at the door. No exceptions.
- 02No alcohol.
None served, none allowed. Soft drinks, coffee and tea only.
- 03Indoors only.
What's bought here stays here. Please don't consume outside — it bothers the neighbours and breaks Dutch law on the street.
- 04Be quiet on the way out.
Amsteldijk is a residential street. Keep voices down after 22:00 and don't linger on the pavement.
- 05Don't drive after.
Driving under the influence is illegal in the Netherlands. Take a tram, bike, or walk it off first.
- 06Start low, go slow.
Especially with edibles — they take 1–2 hours to come on. Don't take more before then. Drink water, sit down. It always passes.
- 07Respect other guests.
No filming other customers without consent. No loud phone calls. The lounge downstairs has TVs and games — share them.
- 08Staff may refuse service.
If we think you've had too much, or you're underage, or you're disruptive — we'll politely ask you to leave. Always.
